These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ARKVOR website (arkvor.com) and any ARKVOR hardware products or software ("Products"). By visiting our website, joining our waitlist, or purchasing a Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or Products.
"ARKVOR," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the business operating under the ARKVOR trade name. "You" refers to the individual or entity accessing our website or using our Products.
ARKVOR devices are consumer hardware products designed to provide offline access to curated knowledge across topics including wilderness survival, emergency preparedness, first aid, and related subjects. All AI inference and knowledge retrieval runs locally on the device. ARKVOR devices do not require an internet connection to operate and do not transmit your queries or usage data to us or any third party.
Our Products are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By purchasing or using a Product, you represent that you meet this requirement.
ARKVOR is a reference tool, not a substitute for professional judgment, trained emergency services, or medical care. Information provided by the device — including anything related to first aid, medicine, navigation, foraging, or survival — is for general educational and preparedness purposes only. It may be incomplete, out of date, or inapplicable to your specific situation. In any life-threatening emergency, contact 911 or your local emergency services immediately if at all possible. Never delay seeking professional medical treatment based on information from this device.
We make no warranty that the knowledge content on the device is accurate, current, or appropriate for your specific circumstances. You assume full responsibility for how you use information provided by the device.
Submitting an early access application does not constitute a purchase, create a binding contract, or guarantee that you will receive a device. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our discretion. We will contact applicants by email when devices become available to provide purchasing instructions.
No payment is collected at the time of application. Purchase terms, pricing, and payment requirements will be presented at the time of order and are subject to change prior to your purchase.
When purchasing a Product, all applicable terms — including pricing, payment methods, estimated shipping timelines, and any applicable taxes — will be presented at checkout. You agree to pay all amounts due at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be fulfilled, in which case you will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
We will make reasonable efforts to ship Products within the timeframes stated at the time of purchase. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Risk of loss and title for Products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
If your device arrives damaged or fails to function as described, contact us at TeamArkvlor@gmail.com promptly after receiving it. We will work with you in good faith to repair, replace, or refund the Product at our discretion.
We do not offer returns for change of mind unless required by applicable law. Detailed warranty terms will be provided with your device at the time of shipment.

All content on the ARKVOR website and embedded in ARKVOR devices — including the ARKVOR name and logo, software, knowledge base content, design, and copy — is the property of ARKVOR and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license or right to use our intellectual property except to use the device as intended for personal, non-commercial purposes.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other communications to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback for any purpose, including improving our Products, without any obligation to compensate you or keep it confidential.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THESE TERMS, OUR PRODUCTS AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE DEVICE'S CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARKVOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF LIFE, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON OUR PRODUCTS OR WEBSITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR OUR PRODUCTS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ARKVOR and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of our Products or website in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or (c) any content or information you submit to us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our Products that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings conducted in Washington State. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. IF FOR ANY REASON A CLAIM PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN ARBITRATION, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as by email if you have joined our waitlist). Your continued use of our website or Products after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ARKVOR regarding the subject matter herein and supersede any prior agreements.
